
On 21 August 2026, at The Ritz-Carlton, Bangkok, the Thai Travel Agents Association (TTAA), represented by Ms. Kanlayanee Assanee, President, and Ms. Tassanee Kiatkamchornchai, Vice President, attended “Korea Travel Night 2026,” organized by the Korea Tourism Organization (KTO).
The event was honored by the presence of Mr. Yeo Ok-han, Executive Director of the Korea Tourism Organization, and Ms. Sunju Lee, Director of the Korean Cultural Center in Thailand, along with representatives from Korean tourism organizations and businesses. Ms. Kanlayanee Assanee, President of TTAA, was also invited to deliver a speech during the event.
Korea Travel Night 2026 provided an important platform for Thai tourism businesses to meet, network, exchange information, and explore new business opportunities with more than 30 public and private tourism organizations and businesses from Korea.
The event featured presentations and promotions of tourism destinations, travel information, special benefits, and tourism products from various Korean cities and provinces, including Gyeonggi, Busan, Jeonju, and Gyeongnam, as well as Korean hotels and destination management companies (DMCs). Special tourism programs focusing on Beauty & Wellness were also introduced, reflecting the growing interest in wellness and experiential travel.
Participants also enjoyed a variety of engaging activities, including Personal Color experiences and recreational activities, adding a unique and interactive dimension to the event.
TTAA’s participation reflects its continued commitment to strengthening tourism cooperation and expanding business networks between Thai and Korean tourism professionals, while facilitating the exchange of tourism information and developing new travel opportunities to support sustainable growth in travel between Thailand and Korea.
