
On 25 May 2026, at the Banjerd Cholvijarn Building, The Thai Chamber of Commerce, the Thai Travel Agents Association (TTAA), represented by Ms. Tassanee Kiatkamchornchai, Vice President, and Ms. Panittha Wongsuk, Central Committee Member, participated in welcoming Mr. Bakytnur Bakytuly, Deputy Governor of Almaty Region, Kazakhstan, together with representatives from more than 20 leading companies from the Republic of Kazakhstan.
On this occasion, TTAA signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Tourism Department of Almaty Region to strengthen tourism cooperation between Thailand and the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The key objectives of this collaboration are to:
• Strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries
• Increase tourist arrivals and promote two-way tourism exchanges
• Enhance international awareness and promotion of the tourism potential of both Thailand and Kazakhstan
This partnership marks an important milestone in fostering closer tourism ties and creating new opportunities for sustainable tourism development between the two nations.
