TTAA Attends the Celebration of Africa Day 2026
On 20 May 2026, at the Rembrandt Hotel Bangkok, Mrs. Jintana Wetchapinan (Vice President), Mr. Phumiphiphat Meesamran (Vice President), and Miss Panittha Wongsuk (Board Committee) of the Thai Travel Agents Association (TTAA) were assigned to attend the celebration marking the anniversary of the founding of the Organization of African Unity: Africa Day 2026.
The event was jointly organized by the African diplomatic corps in Thailand, led by the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco, Dean of the African Ambassadors Group in Thailand, together with the Ambassadors of the Republic of South Africa, the Arab Republic of Egypt, and the Republic of Kenya, as well as representatives from the Embassies of the State of Libya and the Federal Republic of Nigeria in Thailand.
Africa Day is observed to commemorate the establishment of the Organization of African Unity (OAU), which later evolved into the present-day African Union (AU).
