TTAA Participates in the Asia Rising Star in Medical Tourism Promotion Event
On 22 July 2026, at Centara Grand at CentralWorld, Bangkok, the Thai Travel Agents Association (TTAA) was represented by Mr. Natouchphong Aisi, Public Relations, who attended the "Asia's Rising Star in Medical Tourism" – Hainan Boao Lecheng International Medical Tourism Promotion Event.
The event aimed to strengthen exchanges and cooperation between Hainan Province and Thailand in the fields of cultural tourism, medical tourism, and the development of healthcare professionals. It also sought to expand Hainan's medical tourism market into Southeast Asia by leveraging the visa-free policies of the Hainan Free Trade Port, enhancing the region's competitiveness, attracting international visitors, and fostering closer collaboration in both the medical and tourism sectors.
In addition, the event promoted cooperation in cultural tourism, specialized medical services, clinical research, and cross-border healthcare industries within the Hainan Free Trade Port. It also served as a platform for collaboration among healthcare institutions, tourism organizations, and higher education institutions from Hainan and Thailand, encouraging knowledge exchange, professional development, and the establishment of long-term strategic partnerships.
