TTAA Participates in the Tourism Promotion Event in Bangkok Hosted by the City of Sendai and Signs a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on Tourism Cooperation

On 17 July 2026, at the Hilton Bangkok Grande Asoke, the Thai Travel Agents Association (TTAA) was represented by Mr. Chaiyapruk Thongkam, Vice President, Mr. Phumiphiphat Meesamran, Vice President, and Ms. Aktsara Cheewarattanaporn, Committee, who attended the Tourism Promotion Event in Bangkok hosted by the City of Sendai.

On this occasion, TTAA signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on Tourism Cooperation with the City of Sendai, Japan, marking an important step toward strengthening tourism ties between Thailand and Sendai.

The MOU aims to:

  • Strengthen bilateral relations between Thailand and the City of Sendai.

  • Increase two-way tourist exchanges between the two destinations.

  • Promote the tourism potential of both Thailand and Sendai to the international market.

The partnership reflects the shared commitment of both parties to fostering sustainable tourism development and expanding opportunities for future collaboration between the tourism industries of Thailand and Japan.
