TTAA welcomed the Tourism Department Mie Prefecture.
On 11 May 2026, at the Thai Travel Agents Association (TTAA), representatives from the Tourism Department Mie Prefecture, led by Mr. Shiono, Director General of the Tourism Department, Mr. Fujita, Director of Mie Prefecture, Mr. Okada, Assistant Team Leader, Mr. Yamakawa, Staff Member of Mie Prefecture, Mr. Hayden Marks, Inbound Marketing Staff of the Mie Prefecture Tourism Federation, and Ms. Jutarat Chutinantakul, General Manager of Grand Dragoon Co., Ltd., paid a courtesy visit to congratulate the newly elected TTAA Executive Committee, led by Ms. Kanlayanee Assanee, President of TTAA, together with the Association’s executive members.
During the meeting, both parties discussed cooperation opportunities in promoting tourism to Mie Prefecture, including plans to organize a FAM Trip to provide new travel experiences and create future business opportunities in the tourism sector. The delegation also introduced Mie Prefecture’s unique attractions and cultural highlights, including Ise Grand Shrine, ninja villages, renowned local cuisine, and tourism routes that reflect the diverse charm of Japanese culture.
In addition, the delegation presented ideas for educational and study tour programs in Mie Prefecture, covering hotel management, modern technology, and visits to educational institutions and schools, with the aim of promoting knowledge exchange and shared experiences between Thailand and Japan.
